\n“Blitz” is what Italian artist Iginio De Luca<\/a> calls his blend of street art
\nthat incorporates projections, performances and installations.
\nLike most street art, these pieces are enacted without permission.<\/p>\n

He likes to slander and attack valuable figures, buildings and institutions.
\nIt is really rude stuff and doesn\u2019t merit permission or praise.
\nTake this piece done in 2010, for example.<\/p>\n

Lavami. That is Italian for \u201cwash me.\u201d
\nWhy are you victimizing the Catholic Church, Iginio?
\nThey\u2019ve never done anything wrong. Come on\u2026<\/p>\n

Then there\u2019s this degenerate piece, also done in 2010:<\/p>\n

Silvio c\u2019hai rotto li gommoni.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cSilvio, you have broken the life rafts.”<\/em>
\nAn insinuation that the now ex-Italian Prime Minister,
\nSilvio Berlusconi, was irresponsible and was \u201csinking\u201d Italy. <\/p>\n

Iginio, I am sorry to tell you that you were dead wrong.
\nItaly is in great shape now. And before you mention that whole thing
\nabout Berlusconi being convicted of tax-fraud in 2013, remember this:
\nEveryone is human.<\/p>\n

Including the Pope.
\nWhich is why this other 2010 piece,
\nIl Papa macchiato, is especially distasteful.<\/p>\n

Stains on the Pope? Not cool.
\nAll Popes have a God-given sense of fashion, don\u2019t forget.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, Iginio continues to employ these distasteful tactics
\nto insult and hurt. Here is a photo of the artist (the one in the white jacket)
\nrolling some big dice in front of The Quirinal Palace, the historic building
\nwhere the President of the Italian Republic works.<\/p>\n

We get it. You think the politicians are treating the well-being of Italy
\nlike a game, just tossing dice around to see what happens. Funny.<\/p>\n

Now listen to that carabiniere and go home already.
\nSeriously, why are you so angry?
\nLike I said before, Italy is in great shape.<\/p>\n
